But the Curran brothers tried to score but failed to lead their side to victory and fell short by 10 runs, Both Curran brothers scored 30 runs each and Cox also scored 32 runs in 29 balls.

Kane Richardson was awarded Man of the Match for his three-wicket spell which was the game changer for Phoenix helping them to win the match. After the match when asked about the match experience Richardson stated that “It is always nice to win and that is a tough ground to defend on, to be honest. “Feedback at midway was there was the tempo and bounce within the wicket however how we shut it down once they have been coming fairly arduous on the finish there was good.

“Tom Helm that over he was pretty class, the Curran boys were coming and to get them both out is match-winning. “They got here as arduous as we knew they’d so it was an excellent win.”

London Spirit will face off Welsh Fire in the next match of the Hundred tournament at 6:30 Pm
