Well, there is no doubt writing about the player who is a modern-day great and may be found in every batting record book, that is Virat Kohli.
Kohli, who is also the leading run-scorer overall in IPL and is the current highest run-getter in IPL 2024, is the backbone of team RCB since he joined the franchise in 2008.
Time and again Kohli showed his capabilities and stunned the world with batting prowess when the world criticized him for a slow strike-rate, the run-machine played with a strike rate of 155.60 while opening the innings for RCB during the league stage of IPL 2024 to shut the critics.
The modern-day great scored an impressive 29-ball 47 in the do or die game against CSK to provide his side a platform for a big score.
Kohli’s role once again extremely crucial as RCB after a lot of efforts are in playoffs and will play at Narendra Modi Stadium against Rajasthan Royals. The opening batter remained not out at 70 in 44 balls when the last time he played at this venue this season, and RCB will look for a similar magic from their talisman.

The skipper of RCB has shown signs of back in form with a 39-ball 54 against CSK which is a positive sign for Bengaluru ahead of the playoffs.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face Rajasthan Royals in the eliminator match on Wednesday, May 22. A win will take them to qualifier 2 where they will meet the loser of qualifier 1. RCB must need to win both the games to claim a berth to finale.
