RR vs RCB 1st Innings Update
The two Royal teams of the Indian Premier League are fighting to prove their dominance over others. Royal Challengers Bangalore after winning the toss has decided to bowl first. It is Rajasthan Royals who are batting now and at the end of the 1st innings of the 39th match of IPL 2022, their total is 144 for 8. They have given a target of 145 for RCB to chase.
During the death overs, it was predominantly deep order batters who tried their hands at hit the ball and succeeded to a good extent. Parag was the savior for RR who made 56 runs in 31 balls. The batting managed to hit more number of boundaries.
In the last five overs, Rajasthan managed to score 45 runs for the loss of 1 wicket. The highest partnership of the innings was between Mitchell and Samson who contributed 35 runs to the innings.
Siraj bowled the 17th over of the game and was successful in restricting the batters as only 6 runs came off the over. A total of 4 runs and a wicket came off the 18th over of the innings bowled by Harshal Patel.
The 19th over of the innings was bowled by Hazelwood who couldn’t kept things tight, as he got hit for 12 runs. The 20th over of the innings was bowled by Harshal and it was an expensive one. RR batters hit a four and 2 sixes to ensure 18 runs came off the over.
The run rate at the end of 20 overs is 7.20. Riyan Prayag scored the highest number of 56 runs by hitting 4 sixes and 3 fours at a strike rate of 180.64.
