Royal Challengers Bangalore Might Win IPL 2021: Sehwag

Two massive decisions have been made by Virat Kohli this week – One was stepping down as T20 captain for Team India post World Cup and he has even announced officially about leaving the RCB captaincy duties too after completing this IPL season, so virender Sehwag said Royal Challengers Bangalore Might Win IPL 2021, let see what he said Further.

Everyone in the cricketing world wants Virat Kohli to win an IPL trophy at least once before he steps down as a captain. The pressure of winning IPL silverware remains to be another constant sword hanging down on Virat Kohli.

However, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag wants Virat Kohli to win a trophy as he owes that to RCB Family. Virat Kohli has played 8 seasons of IPL as a captain and he failed to win a trophy. The closest RCB went for a trophy was in 2016 where they lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

IPL is important for every captain but I think more so for Virat as with his huge fan base, everyone wants Virat to win a trophy for the Bangalore franchise. If not multiple times then at least once in his tenure as captain,Sehwag told.

This has been a strange year off the field due to pandemic and who knows it might be a different year for Bangalore from previous seasons and they go on to win the trophy,” said Sehwag.

Sehwag also added on who’ll be the favorites to win an IPL trophy. Since the tournament is happening in UAE, Sehwag thinks that Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians will be favorites to win the tournament with MI slightly ahead of all the teams.

Since the second half has been shifted to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, I think Delhi and Mumbai will again be favorites and the five-time champions are slightly ahead,” he added.

RCB are currently third in the IPL table and they’ll hope to secure their place in the top 4 of the table.
