Pant Joins Team India In Durham After Recovering From COVID

After successfully healing from the deadly Covid-19 virus, hard-hitting wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has rejoined the Team India in Durham. Pant tested positive on July 8, three weeks only after the Indian cricket team returned from the World Test Championship (WTC) final. Pant Joins Indian Test Team.

Pant Joins Indian Test Team. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), India’s governing body, released a photo of the joyful youngster wearing a mask and an orange shirt on social media. “Hello @RishabhPant17, great to have you back #TeamIndia,” the tweet said.

When the Indian players were on break, Rishabh Pant was seen watching one of the Euro matches with his friends. Rishabh Pant was isolated at a friend’s residence after a positive test for Covid-19. As a result, he did not accompany the squad to Durham and was forced to miss the three-day practice Test match versus the Select County XI.

Rishabh Pant, on the other hand, is expected to wear the wicketkeeper’s gloves in the first Test in the five-match Test series against England, which begins on August 4th. India will be hoping for a new beginning in the WTC cycle after losing in the final to New Zealand.

Rishabh Pant was also a member of Team India’s last Test team, which travelled in 2018. Even though India lost the series 1-4, there were lots of good things, one of which was Rishabh Pant’s breakthrough as an adventurous and reckless keeper-batsman as an option to Wriddhiman Saha.

Pant had made his series debut, to be fair. Rishabh Pant has confirmed his place in the Test team after a magnificent debut in which he scored 207 runs in four matches, including an incredible 114 in the last Test match. Since the series, he has compiled a total of 1358 runs and has been a crucial member of Team India’s Test team.
