Pakistan To Stage The Remaining Of Pakistan Super League Matches Later This Year

There Are Only Three Games Left In The Season Of The Pakistan Super League 2020 — Two Semi-Finals And The Clash To The Summit:

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) plans to complete later this year’s season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020, which was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic on March 17.In Friday’s Board of Governors meeting, the BoG congratulated the PCB management on having successfully staged PSL 2020 before its suspension. Of more than 5,00,000 fans passing turnstiles to see the live-action, as many as 30 completed matches were played at four venues.

“The BoG has been told that the PCB is preparing to stage the remaining four matches later in the year, while it is planning to add the fifth venue in Peshawar to the 2021 edition scheduled for February and March 2021,” PCB said in a statement.For the PSL 2020 season, there are only three matches left — two semi-finals and the battle to the top.

The BoG has authorized the development of a dedicated PSL Department by separating it from the Commercial Department of the PCB. As part of the PCB ‘s push to strengthen stakeholder partnerships and deliver top-quality activities, PSL Project Executive Shoaib Naveed will head the departments.There will be a supervisory group comprising the chief executive, chief operating officer, chief financial officer and commercial director.The meeting of the PSL General Council is scheduled for the first week of July, with further information to follow in due course.
