PAK vs ENG 3rd Test, Day 3 Update: Ben Duckett shots busy fifty as England ready to claim 3-0 win over Pakistan

PAK vs ENG 3rd Test Update: England maintained their dominance in the third test by restricting the Pakistan side to just 216 to take a 167–run challenge for a complete whitewash.

The visitors opening batters took the charge and struck runs in the final few overs during the last session of day 3 to reduce the gap between them and the victory.

Ben Duckett remained the star of England’s batting today, as he struck a brilliant 50 in just 38 balls, with the English now only requiring 55 runs to claim a 3-0 win over Pakistan in the test series.

It’s almost the same story, we are witnessing for the past 2 weeks England players came to the middle to dominate and won their side a match, as a result, they already won the series with a 2-0 lead, while the ongoing final match of the series will also be looking in their pocket.

Zak Crawley scored 41 off 41, while Ben Duckett remained the aggressor in the partnership.

After allowing the hosts to cross 300-mark, England bowlers got the job done bit early in the second innings and bowled Pakistan out for 216.

Pakistan lost their three wickets early, but a 110-run partnership between Captain Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel put the side back in game that however didn’t stayed for long.

Skipper Azam left the crease after scoring 54 and the hosts faced another collapse and only managed to add another 52 but lost 7 wickets.

Azhar Ali, who announced his retirement after this test, gone for duck in his last international innings.

The 18-year-old young star, Rehan Ahmed, impressed again by claiming a five-wicket haul in his debut match.

The youngest test debutant for England has bagged 2 wickets in the first innings and with 5 in second, he added his name to the history books by taking 7 wickets on debut.

PAK vs ENG 3rd Test Update:

The test started with Pakistan, who won the toss opted to bat and posted 304 runs on board.

After facing a shaky start their middle order did well and scored some handy runs in the process, with Babar Azam remained the top-scorer for the side with 78 runs.

The spinner, Jack Leach once again starred for England with the ball, as he took the maximum (4) wickets for England.

The visiting side, in reply, continued their aggressive play, but lost four wickets under 100, which put the side in bit pressure, but Harry Brook once again came to the rescue for his side, as he struck a brilliant century, while wicket-keeper Foakes supported him throughout England’s innings, and played a knock of 64.
