NZ vs PAK 4T20I Highlights

Invited to bat, Pakistan struggled for a good start as they lost their first wicket in the second over itself in the form of Saim Ayub (1).

Ex-skipper Babar Azam, who batted well in the first 3 games, failed to leave a mark today and was only able to score 19.

The only saving grace in the Pakistan’s innings was the vice-captain Mohammad Rizwan’s knock.

Rizwan played a knock of unbeaten 90 off 63 with the help of six fours and 2 maximums. While a speedy 9-ball 21* by Mohammad Nawaz at the end guided the men in green to a decent 156 in 20 overs.

New Zealand in reply, also witnessed a worst start as their in-form top-order batters not able to score in today’s game.

The Blackcaps were looking in trouble after losing 3 wickets for 20, but after gripping the game, Pakistan bowlers failed to break Mitchell (72*) and Phillips (70)*, as the home side won the game by 7 wickets.
