Two New Persons Are Appointed As Selectors For Indian Selection Committee:
Finally, the Cricket Advisory Committee(CAC) has announced two new persons to appoint as a selector for the Indian selection committee. In the place of MSK Prasad and Gagan Khoda, two former Indian Cricketers are replaced.
The Cricket Advisory Committee comprises of former cricketers in Madan Lal, Sulakshana Naik, and RP Singh.
In the five-member committee, they have changed only two selectors. The other three selectors’ period of work will end after six months. Gagan Khoda and MSK Prasad’s term of office completed the last November, but they were on extension till now.
Harvinder Singh And Sunil Joshi Have Selected To The Indian Selection Committee:
BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee recommends Sunil Joshi and Harvinder Singh as senior team selectors. They join Dewang Gandhi, Jatin Paranjpe and Sarandeep Singh whose term finishes later this year. Joshi has been recommended as chairman of the committee.

Harvinder Singh and Sunil Joshi have selected as the new selectors to the Indian selection committee. Sunil Joshi, who has born on 6th June 1970. In his career, he has played 69 ODIs and 15 Test matches between 1996-2001. He is selected to replace Prasad’s position as the Chairman of Selectors.
Harvinder Singh, who born on 23rd December 1977, is a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He has played 3 Test matches, and 16 ODI matches from 1997 to 2001. He played his last match in 2008, domestic cricket for Railways.
Apart from Sunil Joshi and Harvinder Singh, some other former players are like Venkatesh Prasad, Sivaramakrishnan, and Rajesh Chauhan were shortlisted by the BCCI to occupy the position of Prasad and Gagan Khoda.
Apart from them, other famous names who did not get shortlisted were Chetan Sharma, Nayan Mongia, and Ajit Agarkar.
Sunil Joshi is appointed for South Zone and Harvinder Singh for Central Zone. With these appointments, BCCI has also replaced the selection of coaches on zonal bases. With the new selectors joining the likes of Devang Gandhi, Jatin Paranjape, and Sarandeep Singh, each selector represents a particular zone.
