IND vs AUS after Stumps on day 2 of 3rd Test

It is Stumps on Day 2! Australia tighten their grip further in the game despite their batting failure early on the day. Nathan Lyon’s 8-wicket haul has put them in a dominating position in the game.

Lyon returned statistics of 23.3-1-64-8 while weaving a web around Indian batsmen. Although playing tough defence, Cheteshwar Pujara was out after scoring 59 runs. The seasoned batter’s departure and Smith’s outstanding catch at leg slip off a Lyon delivery effectively put an end to India’s effort.

Umesh Yadav only faced two balls before being caught by Cameron Green in the deep for a duck, ending India’s innings without a peep. India has triumphed in Nagpur and New Delhi to take a 2-0 series lead.

To win the series 1-2, they will just need to score 76 runs. How well will they do? India could also make a change. That will be revealed on the third day. Please come on Friday in good time. Farewell, everyone!
