The Women’s Premier League (WPL) season tickets are now available for purchase. Tickets for the games will be available via BookMyShow. Which serves as the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) official booking and ticketing partner. The first three matches that will be played over the weekend are the ones for which fans can purchase tickets right now. (February 4-5).
Women and girls can enter for free on a first come, first served basis with tickets priced between Rs 100 and Rs 400. The action is in keeping with the BCCI’s choice to permit free access to women and girls during the most recent India-W vs Australia-W cricket series. The country’s top cricket organisation wants to increase the number of female players and draw more attention towards India’s favourite sport.
The Gujarat Giants and the Mumbai Indians, two franchise teams owned by the Adani Group and Reliance Industries. Respectively, will play in the first of the tournament’s 22 matches. Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, and A.P. Dhillon will all give performances during the WPL’s opening ceremony.
