A fine Test bowler:

A lot of experts were skeptical about Bumrah’s Test-playing abilities. They had written him off calling a white-ball specialist. But the Indian team were preparing Bumrah for the overseas Test cycle. He made his Test debut in South Africa. In only his 3rd Test, he ended up picking a 5-fer. Bumrah made a match-winning contribution in India’s only win in England in 2018. He extended his golden run in Australia when his 6 wicket burst at MCG helped India win a historic series.

Bumrah picked up a brilliant hattrick against West Indies in West Indies. He became the only Asian fast bowler to pick up a 5-wicket haul in South Africa, England, Australia, and West Indies.
