IPL 2023 Players in demand: Indian cricket’s participation in the T20 World Cup may have come to an abrupt end, but soon, all eyes will be on the hammer at the IPL auction table. At the IPL 2023 mini-auction, which will take place on December 23 in Kochi, fans will get to see the 10 IPL teams in action.
Prior to that, teams must submit their final retention list of players before November 15.

Players in demand for IPL 2023:
Ben Stokes
His record in T20Is were not look great, but his performance on the big day in every tournament is all what the teams wanted from a player.
Whether his knock in 2019 50-over World Cup, or in T20 World Cup 2022, his outstanding innings while chasing the target for his side help the English team to clinch first the 50-over World Cup and now recently the T-20 World Cup.
For IPL 2023, every team will be seeking for the English test captain, who is the ideal all-around player.
His IPL record is very fine too. He has bagged 28 wickets in 43 games while smashing 920 runs with the bat. On top of that, he won the player of the tournament award in his first IPL outing in 2017.
Sikandar Raza
Raza’s inclusion can be bonus for any team, as he is just an outstanding player and in good form too. He is good with bat and an even better bowler.
Raza’s strike rate in international circuit in 2022 is 150.92, which is more than satisfactory. While he is just outstanding with the ball too and led his side to many victories with his magical spells.
His side Zimbabwe gained victories in three games in the multi-nation tournament and Sikandar Raza was one of the reasons behind it, having won player of the match titles in all that three games.
Cameron Green
The young player of team Australia has already left everyone stunned with his superb performances in his small international career.
He already struck 2 half centuries in 8 games and maintaining over 170 plus strike in international cricket. Magical with ball too he has picked 5 wickets in that process too.
He is just superb since he made debut in the international cricket. And every team wants a player like him in their side as he is a perfect all-round combination. He is having a skill of hitting the bowl in almost every corner of the stadium and also picking wicket at crucial times.
Rilee Rossouw
One of the most experienced T20 players in the world, has scored 2 centuries in the last month, one against India and one against Bangladesh.
He has played 11 T20 matches in 2022 and has scored 372 runs. He maintained a good average of 46.50 and with a whopping strike rate of 176.30 in the process.
Given his current performance, it is clear that he will be the most important player that every team looks to have in their side.
Sam Curran
The player of the match on the big final day of ICC T20 World Cup, Sam Curran, who also won the player of the tournament too will be the hot favourite to pick for any team.
He has a good experience of playing at Indian soil, having played for Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings in the past and has bagged 32 wickets in 32 games.
The 24-year-old Curran was the nightmare for every batter in the T20 World Cup. He has grabbed 13 wickets in just 6 games to purely dominate the big stage and help his side win the tournament.
