At the end of 10 overs of the 45th match of IPL 2022, Delhi Capitals total is 94 runs. In the last 5 overs, Delhi Capitals managed to score 45 runs by losing 2 wickets.
During the Power Play overs, Delhi Capitals’ batters utilized the opportunity and scored 66 runs. Even after losing two wickets early, both Mitchell Marsh and Rishabh Pant played their natural game and fully enjoyed power play restrictions to help their team add runs on the scoreboard.
Krunal Pandya bowled an expensive 4th over of the innings where the skipper Rishabh Pant hit 3 fours and a six to shift momentum towards Delhi. Pandya gave 19 runs in fourth over.
Ravi Bishnoi bowled the 7th over of the innings and kept things somehow tight, conceding just 7 runs from the over. The 8th over of the innings was bowled by Krishnappa Gowtham who continued the momentum, conceding just 5 runs from the over and even gave his team the much-needed breakthrough.
Nine runs came off the 9th over of the innings bowled by Ravi Bishnoi where he kept things tight and took the important wicket of Lalit Yadav. Jason Holder bowled the 10th over of the innings, conceding just 7 runs from the over.
The run rate at the end of 10th over is 9.40. Rishabh Pant and Rovman Powell are at the crease now.
The Lucknow Super Giants have been performing well in the competition thus far and will have an advantage over the Delhi Capitals, who have not been as steady. And even after 10 overs, Delhi Capitals had lost four of their major batsmen. So, it will be interesting to see how the remaining batters perform in the final ten overs.
