India’s fast bowling star Renuka Singh clinched the ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year 2022 Award

On Wednesday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) made a statement. Impressing everybody with her magnificent displays of seam and swing bowling, the ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year had a great run in 2022. Renuka Singh took 18 ODI wickets for 14.88, at a 4.62 economy rate. Also, 22 T20I wickets for 23.95, at a 6.50 economy rate. Renuka won the award by defeating Yastika Bhatia, Alice Capsey, and Darcie Brown of Australia.

The 26-year-old has generated a lot of noise as a result of her rise during a hectic year for the India team. 

In just 29 matches across the two white-ball forms in 2022, the right-armer claimed 40 wickets for her nation, stepping into the shoes of the legendary Jhulan Goswami.
