India chose to bat first after winning the toss. The hosts got off to a rousing start thanks to Gill and his captain Rohit Sharma, who served as the openers. India accelerated to 95 runs in just 15.2 overs as a result. India finished the first innings with a total of 390/5 in 50 overs.

Hardik Pandya and Umran Malik were replaced in India’s starting XI by Suryakumar Yadav and Washington Sundar, respectively for the third and final ODI of the series.

Unlike Gill, who stayed in and hammered his second century, Rohit left the game after scoring 42 off of 49 balls. Virat continued his greatness as he scored his 46th ODI century. Shreyas also came in at the middle stage of the first innings and played a crucial knock of 38 runs from 31 balls.

KL Rahul and Suryakumar came at the end of the innings trying to make an impact but they couldn’t get what they wanted as the Indian innings was dominated by King Kohli and Shubham Gill.

IND vs SL Injury Updates? What Happened?

When the ball is pulled in between Vandersay and Ashen Bandara, who are both attempting to stop it, one of them uses the type of sliding challenge one typically sees in football to take out the other player. As soon as both men are down, the ball slides away to the cushions.

Vandersay is the one who is in difficulty right away since Bandara’s knee got caught in her stomach. Additionally, the volunteers arrived there quickly. Vandersay is moaning in agony and awaiting transfer while Bandara is being carried away on a stretcher. Bandara is conscious while wearing the neck brace.

IND vs SL: Shubham Gill Smashing his Second ODI Century

The India opener played a fantastic knock, In just 89 balls Shubman Gill scores his second ODI century. After Shikhar Dhawan’s lacklustre performance, Gill was given the chance at the top and he seized it with both hands.

With the help of 11 fours and a few sixes, Gill reaches the three-figure threshold. Shubham Gill was going well until Rajitha bowled him out when he was batting at 116 from 97 balls.

IND vs SL: Unstoppable King Kohli

King Kohli what a great player, Virat Kohli continues his mastery. What a stunning inning from the run machine,  back to his vicious best. In just 85 balls, Kohli hits his 46th ODI century.

His century thus far has come at a strike rate of 117.44 and has included 10 fours and a six. Achieved a score of 113 in the first ODI but fell short in the second. And came back in the final ODI with yet another century.

Virat Kohli finished his innings with an unbeaten 166 of 110 balls.

IND vs SL: Sri Lankan Bowlers

Seven bowlers were employed by the Sri Lankan skipper Dasuan Sanaka who tried everything possible to stop the Indian batsman as they once again failed to stop the Indian batsman from taking the game away.

Kasun Rajitha and Lahiru Kumara were the only two bowlers who picked up two wickets each but both of them were expensive, which did not help Sri Lanka in any way. Chamika Karunaratne also managed to pick up one wicket, but they gave away 58 runs in his 8-over spell.

Overall Sri Lankan Bowlers were expensive as they looked tired and inexperienced. As it was all about Virat Kohli and Shubham gill in the first innings.

IND vs SL Innings Update: Sri Lanka on the Chase

Sri Lanka after failing to stop the Indian Batsman, now they have a bigger task in their hand as they have to chase 391 runs from 50 overs to win the match and gain some consolation in the series.
