IND vs BAN 1st inning update

In a highly anticipated India vs Bangladesh clash, the Bangla Tigers posted a decent 256 for 8 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.  

Opting to bat, Bangladesh made a quite start with 10 on board in the first 5 overs, but both the openers then changed their gears and collected 53 in the next five and put Tigers in strong position, with the help of some decent knock from Liton Das and Mahmadullah, Bangladesh were able to post 256.  

Liton Das played a knock of 66 and remained the top run-scorer for the side, while Mahmudullah’s contribution of 46 at the end helped Bangladesh to cross 250-run mark.

IND vs BAN innings update: Bangladesh pciks up after a slow start

After a 63 for none in the first ten overs, everything was looking in favour of the Bangla Tigers, and the men in blue were still searching for their first breakthrough, Tanzid Hasan failed to read Kuldeep Yadav’s delivery and went out for 51.  

Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mehidy Hasan Miraz didn’t manage to provide assistance to set batter Liton Das, which put pressure on Liton, and he got out while clearing a boundary over mid-off.  

Mushfiqur Rahim played a steady knock with 38, while Mahmudullah’s 46 helped Bangladesh to put a competitive score – in front of the mighty Indian side.  

Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja took 2-2 wickets each for India, while Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav shared 1-1 each.  

Ravindra Jadeja has performed his best fielder performance with an unbelievable catch on point.
