India squad for England’s final three Test matches Real-time updates: It is expected that the India squad for the next three Test matches against England would be revealed today, Wednesday, February 7.

However, BCCI is still having trouble revealing the full roster for the three tests against the English team. All eyes are on Jasprit Bumrah, who may get some rest, and Virat Kohli, who missed the first two Tests for personal reasons.

For India, there are also some injury concerns. Due to their individual injuries, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja were unable to participate in the second Test, and Mohammed Shami has not played since the World Cup 2023 final.

But elsewhere, there is positive news for India. The players who are expected to be included in the squad for the next two Tests are KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, who were injured and missed the second Test. In the first game of the series, Jadeja injured his hamstring trying to score a run, and Rahul was out due to a quadriceps injury.

They are both presently enrolled at Bengaluru’s National Cricket Academy (NCA). Although the NCA physicians have not yet given their final report to the BCCI, selectors are hopeful that Rahul and Jadeja will make a full recovery, especially since the third Test in Rajkot is still one week away.

Siraj set to return; Bumrah won’t be rested from third Test

It is also announced that pacer Mohammed Siraj, who was cut from the team for the second Test, will rejoin the team to split the workload with Jasprit Bumrah. Since the Indian team management is hesitant to use four spinners, Siraj is practically guaranteed to replace Mukesh Kumar, who battled with his line and length in the previous Test, in the starting XI in Rajkot right away.

The five-match series is now tied at 1-1. The third Test match is very important because a victory would put the squad in a strong position.
