T20 World Cup semi-final 2: Team India’s regular skipper Rohit Sharma has scared all the Indian cricket team fans after he got injured in the practice session, when a ball hit his forehand, and there were speculations all around that he will miss the semi-final clash against England on Thursday.

But, he later provides a sign of relief for everyone when he walked back to play in the nets.

According to media reports, the injury Indian skipper sustained was not serious and he will be available to play in the semi-final game against England on Thursday.

There is no need to worry as Rohit is fit and he will play the game for sure. But if any case he missed out than Kl Rahul. The current vice-captain of team India will handle the responsibility of captaining the side.

The 30-year-old then led the Indian side in blue jersey against the same opponent in the India tour to South Africa 2021-2022. The men in blue lost all of three ODI games there.

However, he got the Indian cricket team captaincy for the Zimbabwe tour in 2022. Where his side won 3 out 3 games. The series also helped him better his win ratio as the captain of team India.

The opening batter recently given the opportunity to lead the team India in the Asia Cup 2022. He led side in team India’s last game of the tournament. Where the men in blue recorded victory by a good margin of 101 runs.

He not doubt has recorded 4 victories so far, but all of them came against smaller teams and now the challenge is to big if in any case he has handle the captaincy.
