The exciting contest between India and Bangladesh is on. After winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to bowl first bringing India to bat. In the first innings, India posted a huge total of 184 runs at the cost of 6 wickets. All thanks to Virat Kohli’s 64* and KL Rahul’s 50.

If there is one man in the form then it is Virat Kohli. The man yet again showed why he is the real King. He started his innings slowly but towards the end, hit the accelerator to make his team reach a very good score.
India posted a massive total of 184 runs. Taskin was nigh unplayable at times and was unlucky to finish wicketless. But Shakib finished his spell in search of early wickets and India then prospered. They lost their captain early, but KL took charge, waited for Taskin to be done with and then opened up, carving apart Shoriful as he raised a much-needed 31-ball half-century. That brought in Suryakumar and he was onto his job, making a 16-ball 30 before being castled by Shakib.
As they sought out fast runs, Hardik, DK, and Axar all fell in the single digits, but Kohli stayed on, anchored the innings, and then opened up in the end. Ashwin too had a brief appearance, and India finished with a respectable total. Although Taskin played really well, Hasan Mahmud and Shakib claimed all the wickets that fell.

Talking about his first 50 in the T20 World Cup 2022 KL Rahul said, “Been mixed feeling. I got some good knocks before coming to Australia. But the first three games haven’t gone my way. I think I was doing a lot of things right. Wasn’t worried about missing out in the last three games. I am happy I got a good innings under my belt. We will have to bowl well with the new ball. Some wickets might put pressure on them.”
