Shubham Gill’s First International Test Hundred 

Shubham Gill: The young and upcoming superstar of the Indian cricket team has finally scored his first-ever test hundred in the first Test against Bangladesh

Who is Shubham Gill?

An opening batsman representing Punjab in local cricket, Shubman Gill represents India at the international level. He served as the India U-19 team’s vice-captain at the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

At end of 2017, he made his List-A debut against Vidharbha and his first-class debut for Punjab against Bengal in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. He scored a half-century in the match and 129 runs in the subsequent match against Services. In January 2019, he made his international debut for the Indian cricket team.

Bangladesh vs India, First Test Match 

India jumped off to a commanding lead of 254 runs as a result of Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel taking a wicket in the morning, limiting Bangladesh to 150 runs.

India now has a 365-run advantage after scoring 111 runs. Bangladesh batted in the fourth inning of the game, but captain KL Rahul decided against going for the follow-on and instead took a more traditional approach.
