‘I See Wrestlers Than Cricketers In Pakistan Team’: Javed

The men’s team of Pakistan presently is set for the limited-overs series against England. They’re on tour to England and it definitely doesn’t go for them. Pakistan previously suffered from a 0-3 whitewash on their home side in the ODIs and was scheduled for the T20I series on 16 July, Friday. Against that scenario, Aaqib Javed, a former seamer, claimed the currentT20I team is not perfect and has numerous faults.

Javed About Pakistan Team

Javed said that in the Pakistan T20I squad he sees more wrestlers than cricketers. Javed has worked as head with the U-19 team of Pakistan and has served as the Senior Team Bowling Coach in the past. In conjunction with the team management, the former cricketer criticized selectors for not having correct plans and policies.

The former cricketer also questioned Sohaib Maqsood’s inclusion in the team and stated that his PSL performance was just pulled in the T20I side without any confirmation of his positions. According to him, in the present team, there are numerous cricketers whose fitness is in doubt.

There are question marks over the fitness of few Players: Aaqib Javed

“They don’t know what they are doing or what is their direction. I see more wrestlers than players in the T20 team. There are question marks over the fitness of Sharjeel Khan, Azam Khan, Sohaib Maqsood for international level,” said Aaqib Javed on a news channel.

Javed said the England side had planned the white-ball cricket that was really successful. On the opposite, Pakistan has no real strategy, since it has comparable players for one position, which already creates much uncertainty.

“If you look at the team they have several players of similar nature or for one position. Is this the way to move forward,” he added.

For the 3- T20Is, which would take place on 16, 18, and 20 July, Pakistan would be competing against England.
