Among Indian batsmen to score 1000 T20I runs, Kohli is the fastest to reach the landmark. Kohli breached the 1000 runs mark in 27 innings. Dawid Malan is the fastest overall to reach the milestone in 24 innings.

Kohli owns the record of becoming the fastest batsmen to reach the 2000 runs mark in T20I’s. He reached the 2000 runs milestone in just 56 innings. Kohli broke Brendon McCullum’s record (66 innings) to achieve this milestone.
