Afghanistan beat Ireland by 27 runs in 4th T20I to level series

IRE Vs AFG 4th T20I Match Highlights: Afghanistan defeated Ireland by 27 runs in the fourth T20I to level series 2-2 at Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast on Monday.

Batting first Afghanistan put 132 on board in their 11-over quota in a rain-curtailed match and later bowled out Ireland for 105 to take the series to final game.

Earlier, the game was reduce to 11 overs per side due to wet outfield. The five-match series is now deadlocked at 2-2 with the decider game will take place at the same venue on August 17.

The high-voltage do or die match for Afghanistan saw a high-scoring game on Monday as after accepting the invitation to bat first, the visitors put on a strong total of 132 runs on board in 11 overs a side game.

George Dockrell remained unbeaten till the end with 27 ball 41, but lack of support from other hand cost Ireland the game as the last six batters only managed to add combined four runs to the scoreboard.

Fareed Ahmed Malik was the pick of the bowler for Afghanistan with a 14 for 3 wickets spell of 2 overs.
