The match was originally started on September 10, but was pushed to reserve day due to unfavorable weather circumstances.

India was however in good position before the rain interrupted the scenario, all thanks to spectacular fifties from both Indian openers, Rohit Sharma (56) and Shubman Gill (58). They got out after playing impressive knocks that put India into a solid position.

Virat Kohli and Kl Rahul, the number 3 and 4, respectively then started India’s campaign on Monday with the same rhythm.

Both the batters were seen flawless on the field and scored runs against every Pakistani bowler to first complete their fifties in no time and then hundreds.

Pakistan’s most dangerous pacer, who dismissed India’s top-order in the last game was remain wicketless in this game after giving 79 runs in 10 overs.
