Pakistan fans accuse India for Wantedly losing the match against South Africa

Social Media reacts to India’s loss to South Africa

Pak fans accuse Indian players: David Miller continued to remain unbeaten on 59* to ensure South Africa won the match, demonstrating once more why he is one of the best finishers in the world. Pakistan’s chances of making it to the semifinals are basically gone as a result of India’s defeat.

One of the South African chase’s heroes, Aiden Markram, overcame numerous run-out opportunities and a lost catch to make a crucial half-century. While Rohit Sharma missed a straightforward run-out opportunity with all three stumps in his line of sight. Virat Kohli lost a straightforward catch at deep mid-wicket.

Fans Criticize Indian Players

Following the defeat, several supporters criticised KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma for India’s performance on the day and expressed displeasure with the team, while many cheered the result that effectively eliminated Pakistan from the competition.

Pakistan’s chances of making it to the semifinals now depend on how other teams in group 2 fare in their matches after suffering two losses in three games. India received strong support from Pakistani fans during the match against South Africa for the same reason. However, much to their anguish, India lost the game.

After the game was over, Pakistani fans rushed to social media to express their anger over the situation by posting amusing memes. The social media was filled with comments against Indian players. Saying that India wantedly lost the match so that Pakistan don’t have a chance to qualify for the semi-finals.

We saw a poor performance from a few Indian players in all the departments like Feilding, batting and even bowling. India made mistakes in every aspect of the game and especially that made the Pakistan fans furious.

Pakistan’s Chances for qualifying into Semis

Given the twists and turns, the World Cup has seen so far. It’s important to remember that Pakistan is still in the running to reach the semifinals. However, it is no longer in their hands for Pakistan to go to the semifinals. Either South Africa or India must lose the remaining group games.

Pakistan is currently in fifth place in group 2 with one win and two loss. Pakistan need something unimaginable or unexpected things to happen if Pakistan wants to qualify for the next rounds of the T20 World Cup. The Pakistani fans and players have to pray that India or South Africa loses their next two games.

What’s Next?

Pakistan will face South Africa next on 03- November (Thursday). Whereas India will face Bangladesh on 02- November (Wednesday).
