ICC T20 Rankings: Shakib Becomes No 1 All-rounder, Rizwan Remains Top Batter

ICC T20 Rankings, T20I No.1 All-Rounder: As a result of his outstanding performance in the most recent tri-series against New Zealand and Pakistan, Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan has surpassed Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi to take the top ranking among allrounders in 20-over international cricket.

He scored 70 runs off 44 balls against New Zealand, and then 68 runs off 42 balls against Pakistan. He now leads Nabi by 20 rating points and has 266.

After making strong starts in the T20 World Cup’s opening round, JJ Smit of Namibia and Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe both jumped into the top five all-rounders. Smith rose four spots to fourth after going 1 for 16 against Sri Lanka and 2 for 24 against the Netherlands, both of which he scored 31* points in addition to. Following the most recent update to the batter rankings, aggressive New Zealand right-hander Glenn Phillips rose an amazing 13 ranks to tie for 10th place as a result of his outstanding tri-series performances against Bangladesh and Pakistan.

The revised list of bowlers showed some modest movement inside the top 10, with Mujeeb Ur Rahman moving up two positions to fifth and Keshav Maharaj of South Africa moving up one spot to eighth.
