Afghanistan Test Will Take Place From 21 To 25 November:
Australia will start its test summer later this year in Perth with the inaugural Test matches against Afghanistan, while the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India will open in Gabba.
The Afghanistan Test series will be conducted from 21 November to 25 November and will be a day and night affair. The first of the four Tests against India will take place in Brisbane on 3rd December. The second test will be a day/night affairs at Adelaide Oval stadium on 11 -15 December. and the third Test will be held at MCG on 26 December – 30 December. The fourth Test will be held at the SCG Stadium on 3 January – 7 January respectively.

Captain of Team India, Virat Kohli said he expected to defend the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in January of this year, irrespective of venue.
“It doesn’t matter to us if it’s Gabba or Perth,” he said. “As a team, we have the skills to contend against anybody everywhere in the world. Whether it’s a white ball, a pink ball, or a red ball”.

However, the Gabba has a favorite ground with many victories for Australian cricketers. “We cannot expect to come to Gabba because we know that Australia is playing well and winning so many Test matches,” said Test captain Tim Paine.

Paceman Mitchell Starc from Australia welcomed the idea of a day/night against India, which will take place from 11 December in Adelaide.
“I believe a pink ball Test is absolutely great against India,” said Starc. “Fans love this. I believe it provides another dimension of the contest, bats, and balls in this contest are closer together.
“India played the pink-ball game in India, so they are not entirely new. It’s nice to have a pink-ball competition in the series. I have seen and heard little bits that India is open to it too, so it’s amazing.
On Friday, 29 May, Australia will announce full International men and women’s schedule for the 2020-21 summer.
