Harmanpreet Kaur after meeting with PM Modi, the captain of the Indian women’s team, expressed her happiness during her Saturday meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

At the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Harmanpreet and company took home the silver medal after falling to Australia in the championship match. It is the first women’s cricket competition in the history of the Commonwealth Games.

“Getting inspiration from the nation’s prime minister is really vital. When PM Modi speaks with us, it seems as though the entire nation is behind us and appreciates all of our efforts. It’s a significant victory for our cricket team, Harmanpreet told ANI.

The PM’s home served as the venue for the occasion. Along with the players and coaches from the teams, it was also attended by Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur.
