Indian star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is currently struggling with his fitness and this is one sight of concern for him in the upcoming World Cup selections. The 27-year-old all-rounder has been suffering from his back injury and this is something that is questioning his true potential. Definitely, Hardik is the one player whom Team India can definitely rely on if he plays his best in the limited-over format.

In a recent interview Hardik said – “Yes, that’s the plan. My main aim is to be at my peak when the World Cup happens. All my training, planning, preparation is keeping the World Cup in mind. I want to win the World Cup for the country. It will make me really happy and proud.

He also added – “It is like an obsession with me. IPL will give me a very good preparatory platform for the World Cup but all the hard work ultimately is for the Indian team and the World Cup,

Hardik has also expressed how bio-bubbles have affected him mentally and he has tried his level best to maintain a balance between playing and spending time with his family.

He has also expressed – “I have always rushed myself with my preparation keeping the team’s interest in mind. But this time I wanted some time off to prepare myself physically and mentally. I also wanted to take some time off for my family. We have spent a lot of time in bio bubbles, though everyone has tried to make us feel comfortable, staying in a bio bubble is very tough,”

Recently Hardik Pandya was signed by the new Ahmedabad franchise and he will be leading the side for the upcoming IPL 2022 edition.
