But the achievements of Rahul Dravid weren’t considered as all those records have been placed during the days of Sachin Tendulkar, who gained the godly status of cricket.

1. Fastest fifty by any wicketkeeper Of India
Rahul Dravid has an unusual link with L.B Stadium of Hyderabad. While leading India team in a Youth Test here, he scored a century against New Zealand in 1992. After seven long years, at this stadium, Dravid recorded his maximum ODI score against the Blackcaps.
He scored a half-century in 22 deliveries with the help of 5 fours and 3 sixes. This record remains as the 2nd fastest fifty for India in the ODI format behind Ajit Agarkar’s 21 balls effort. And this is the fastest ODI half-century by an Indian wicketkeeper.
2. Maximum runs scored in Test cricket
Rahul Dravid holds one more record in Test because of his longevity at the crease. He did 32,039 runs partnership in Test cricket including the runs of Dravid, runs of his batting partner and also the extras.
Rahul Dravid is the first batsman, who achieved this feat while Sachin Tendulkar scored 31,245 runs at the crease. Rahul was involved in 738 times partnership in his total career, among which 88 were century stands. In Test cricket, apart from Rahul Dravid, no other batsman involved in that much of century stands.
Dravid also took 453 wickets during his stay at the crease as a wicketkeeper. He is the second player, who has seen more than 400 wickets fall after Shivnarine Chanderpaul, tops the list of seeing 519 wickets fall.
3. Winning a Test match in all six countries as a skipper
The record of Rahul Dravid as a captain of India is often underrated because of India’s defeat in World Cup during 2006-2007 and Champions Trophy under him.
But maximum India’s world record of 17 wins while chasing came under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid. Also he led India to Test series wins in the foreign soil.
India won England test series, West Indies as well as Bangladesh test series under his captaincy. In the South Africa tour, Rahul led India to their maiden Test win and was also worked as captain when India won the 2004 Multan Test. Apart from Dravid, no other Indian captain won at least one test in more than three nations.
4. Batting records for Scotland
On the social media platforms, Rahul Dravid was representing Scotland got more hypes but the records he created in those has left a mark of his tremendous capability. For the National Cricket League 2003- domestic One-Day Cup of England, Dravid was taken as a foreign player by the Scottish team. There he scored 600 runs with an average of 66.67 with three centuries and two half-centuries in 11 matches.
For Scotland, Dravid’s batting average rate still remains the maximum for any other player having at least 500+ runs in List A format and also in all other types of professional cricket. Those Rahul Dravid’s 600 runs is still the maximum runs scored by any cricketer playing for Scotland in a tournament in any format.
In this meantime, the former Indian skipper scored three hundred during the 2003 NCL. No other cricketer of Scotland had scored more than a century in his career. But, he doesn’t hold any record of maximum hundreds in any formats for the Scotts in career. In the year 2003, he created another record of scoring maximum runs 129* in 2003 against Nottinghamshire.
5. Oldest Indian player in T20Is
The debut T20 match of Rahul Dravid came under dramatic situations as he got selected in the playing XI because of an injury-hit teammate. Very few batsmen got ruled out in front of the one-off T20I match against England in Manchester.
On the day of the T20I match, he was 38 years 232 days old, which makes him the oldest player, who is featured in a T20I match for India. Also, he became the oldest T20I debutants from the Test playing countries.
