#5 Reece Topley – 1.90 crores
Jason Behrendorff’s trade to MI meant RCB was looking for a left-arm seamer in the auction. To their surprise, they managed to buy Reece Topley at just INR 1.90 crores. Topley is arguably a better T20 bowler as compared to Behrendorff.
#4 Glenn Phillips – 1.50 crores
He showcased his ability on the world’s biggest stage in the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia. Glenn Phillips is one of the rare multi-dimensional cricketers. His former IPL team, KKR had completely lost trust in him. Kuldeep Yadav switched to the Delhi Capitals in 2022 in the mega auction. He was bought for just INR 2 crores. Yadav went on to become the only player to win 4 POTM last season vindicating Delhi’s faith.
