Why Rishabh Pant better than Sehwag: After 455 days of the wait, the Delhi Capitals Skipper will made a come back in the first clash of IPL  which was played at the new Mullanpur Stadium. Fans are excited to the cricketer in the crease again after the tragic accident in December 2022. That took the whole cricket faternity into the shock as it was avry tragic one and the survival was the question for the cricketer.  It was the cricketers fate that nothing major happened to the Pant rather than a mental dent. Rishabh Pant becomes the only player to play 100 matches for the side 

In March 2021, Pant was handed over the captaincy of the Delhi Capitals after the regular captain Shreyas Iyer. He has played 99 matches in the IPL and playing the 100th IPL match against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024. So Far in the 99 IPL matches he has scored 2856 runs with his classic abilities of scoop sweep and south paw classic cover drives with an average of 34.40 at a strike rate of 147.90.

These were collected together with 15 half centuries in 98 innings played so far. His best scores still remains unbeaten by himself which was last marked since the start. He is still in the race with the OGs like  Virender Sehwag and David Warner. Sehwag stepped down due to the age factor but David is still to maintain the healthy competition in the game with the same  franchise.

After some of the bang on series , filling the void of captaincy for  Delhi Capitals as the regular captain Shreyas Iyer was Injured. As he had the hunger to perform and play for the team  and that took him the  long way and also waa praised by the  Delhi Capitals fab base. As a captain he won 16 games and Lost 14 games in IPL. Virender Sehwag 

Virender Sehwag is one of the most dangerous batters of his time he needs and over to settle down to rigorously hit the bowlers here and there. He was appointed as the Delhi Capitals skipper which was then Delhi Dare Devils in 2008, 2009, and 2012 IPL seasons. Gambhir first took over as captain from Sehwag in 2010. Then with the responsibilities he became the first Delhi Capitals batsman to reach 1,000 runs in IPL. Delhi Played 25 matches under his captaincy, they won 12 and lost 13 of them. The 2010 IPL season marked the first time Delhi failed to qualify for the playoffs.
