Sydney Sixers Women have recorded their third loss on the trot and are now in danger of falling out of the top four.

They’re now on 12 points, two behind Perth Scorchers who beat them with a massive 52-run margin on Saturday (November). Notwithstanding a poor first half, the 27-ball 52 of Natalie Sciver and the 14-ball25* of Heather Graham powered Perth to 152.

Perth was slow at 67/3 when Meg Lanning was run out in the 11th over. But some fast runs from Sciver and later from Graham brought the maximum beyond Sydney Sixers.

Inside the powerplay, the visitors lost two and soon reeling in the ninth over at 35/5. Though it stopped Sixers from being bowled out, Lauren Smith’s 35- ball 36 did little on run rate. Two wickets each were completed bt Kim Garth and Heather Graham.
