TATA WPL 2023 Schedule: The long-awaited Women’s Premier League (WPL), which is all set to start in some days after years of waiting and discussion, will improve the lives of hundreds of female cricket players in India and throughout the world and elevate the sport in the coming years.
The five team owners made a record-breaking collective bid of Rs 4,699.99 crore, and Viacom18 added another Rs 951 crore for the global television and digital media rights for the first five-year cycle (2023-27).

The eagerly anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 season is set to start on March 4. Gujrat and Mumbai Indians will play each other in the opening game of the WPL 2023 at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium in just seven days.

Tata WPL 2023 Format and Venues
Double round robin format will be used in the tournament.
The final will take place at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai after the league stage, which will be followed by an elimination game between the second- and third-placed teams at the DY Patil Stadium.

Five teams will compete in the Women’s Premier League’s debut season: Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, UP Warriorz, and Gujarat Giants (located in Ahmedabad) (based in Lucknow).
