England paceman Stuart Broad was disqualified during the First Test against Pakistan by his father Chris, a match referee, for a breach of the code of conduct of the International Cricket Council. Broad was fined 15 percent of his match fee for a level one violation and also handed one demerit point for using offensive language when he dismissed Yasir Shah at Old Trafford’s second innings in Pakistan on Saturday, hours before England ended a three-win. Broad acknowledged the offence and accepted the penalty offered by the former England batsman, Chris Broad, who is now a member of the ICC’s elite panel of match referees.
