Smith may be seen blindfolded analyzing his bats to assess their quality in Dani’s Instagram post. Willis shared a photo of Smith trying to assess his bats while blindfolded with the caption, “Flashback to Steve doing Steve things. I think he was trying to work out which bat had the better pick up?! @steve_smith49”.

Steve Smith’s incredible blindfold ritual soon went viral on social media, leaving cricket fans in splits. Smith’s reaction to his wife’s insane picture drew a response from him, as he explained his actions. Smith explained that he was only attempting to evaluate his bats from one to eight based on their pickup by tagging the picture on his Instagram story.

Meanwhile, Steve Smith had an emotional day on Monday, May 31, when he was finally reunited with his wife Dani Willis after a two-month wait. After completing his necessary 14-day quarantine in Sydney on his arrival from India, the batter is now free to return home.
