Beth Mooney’s Top Spot In Women’s T20I Rankings Chart:

At the Women’s T20 World, Beth Mooney has scored 259 runs in six innings. Because of these huge runs, she able to move up two positions in the Women’s T20I rankings and become the No.1 T20I batter in the whole world.

In the group stage tournament against New Zealand, Beth Mooney scored 60 runs then against South Africa, she scored 28 and finally in the final match against India she scored unbeaten 78 runs at the MCG on Sunday, with the help of which Australia won the World Cup trophy for the fifth time. Because of her stable run-scoring performance throughout the World Cup, she won the Player of the tournament trophy too.

Whereas, Shefali Verma, the 16 years old cricketer has come into the playoff stage of the 2020 T20 World Cup and ranked No.1, but the washed-out match against England and scoring 2 runs in the final match dropped her position to third. Suzie Bates of New Zealand occupied the second position.

For the first time this Australian cricketer Beth Mooney has been at the leading position in the T20I rankings. In March 2018, once she was in the second position.

Along with Ben Mooney, Alyssa Healy also climbed to the fifth spot from seventh and got the player of the match trophy in the final match for her outstanding 75 runs in 39 balls. Another batter was Laura Woolvardt of South Africa, who jumped 13 places to spot 31.

Amongst bowlers, the top four pacers Megan Schutt, Shabnim Ismail, Sophie Ecclestone, and Amelia Kerr kept their positions. Whereas Deepti Sharma and Jess Jonassen exchanged their rankings. The Australian bowler moved up to the fifth position after picking up 3 wickets for 20 runs in the final match. Since November 2017, for the first time, she comes to the top five positions due to her 728 ranking points.

Among the T20I all-rounders, Sharma climbed up and grabbed the spot 5 from 6th. In front of her Sophie Devine, Ellyse Perry, Nat Sciver, AND Hayley Matthews are there.
