Rumours of rift between Jadeja and Dhoni, Netizens in shock after Jadeja removes all posts related to CSK

Rumours of Rift between Jadeja and Dhoni?

Ravindra Jadeja has deleted all posts related to his IPL franchise CSK of 2021 and 2022 seasons from his Instagram account as a sign things are not going well between the all-rounder and the IPL franchise.

Apart from that, Jadeja, who is known for having a close bonding with former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, didn’t wish MS on his birthday on July 07, which left the Netizens all shocked.

There are some rumours of rift was visible between the two best buddies after MS Dhoni took back charge of the team and Jadeja was later ruled out of the IPL with a rib injury.

Before the commencement of IPL 2022, MS Dhoni gave up his position as CSK captain. While Jadeja was named captain of the team. But the all-around player resigned midway through the 2022 campaign because serving as captain was hurting his personal performance.

Netizens shocked as Jadeja didn’t wish Dhoni on his birthday

Prior to 2022 season, when clubs had the option to keep any four players. CSK chose to keep Jadeja for a staggering sum of 16 crore. Just two days before the tournament started, MS Dhoni also gave Jadeja the captain’s hat, which was another favourable development for Jadeja.

But the captaincy experience quickly turned into a nightmare as the four-time champions lost six of their eight games under his leadership. As a result, he decided to relinquish the captaincy to MS Dhoni.

In the 10 games he played for CSK this season, Jadeja only managed to score 116 runs at a strike rate of 118.37, which led many to believe he was not appropriate for the captaincy role. On top of that, the star all-rounder only took five wickets in 10 games.

Despite a dead run in IPL 2022, Jadeja was outstanding in his comeback match against England.

He smashed a solid century in the fifth rescheduled test between India and England to help India cross 400 mark in the first innings. Also, on Wednesday he was appointed as the vice-captain of India’s ODI squad for the West Indies series, starting July 22.
