Rashid Khan’s Mimicry of Adam Gilchrist

Rashid Khan is known be a funny chap with an incredible sense of humor outside the pitch. The Afghani, who is currently in Australia for the upcoming Big Bash League, was recently captured mimicking the great Adam Gilchrist. In the video, the leg-spinner can be seen ludicrously impersonating Adam Gilchrist’s commentary style.

On Monday, Rashid Khan’s BBL side Adelaide Strikers uploaded the funny video on their official Twitter account. Rashid Khan played his role of impersonating Adam Gilchrist to perfection. Rashid Khan’s Adelaide Strikers teammate, who can be seen in the video, was also in splits after watching the spinner’s imitation of the legendary wicketkeeper.

Rashid Khan Turns His Focus To BBL

After a successful Dream11 IPL season, Rashid will be focusing on the upcoming Australian top-tier competition. The spinner has set an astonishing record for himself in BBL since his debut back in 2017. Rashid Khan has clinched 50 wickets in the 40 innings he has appeared in with an economy of 6.37 and average of 17.70.

Big Bash League is scheduled to kick-off from December 10 and the finals is set to be played on February 6, 2021. A total of 61 games will be hosted in a span of 58 days across Australia. All the eight teams participating in the competition will face each other twice and the top four team in the end will head towards the knock-out part of the tournament.
