Sunil Narine has been cleared by the IPL’s Suspect Bowling Action Committee in what comes as a big boost for Kolkata Knight Riders and his name has been removed from the suspect action alert list, an IPL media release announced on Sunday. After the match against Kings XI Punjab in Abu Dhabi, Narine was confirmed to have taken suspicious action. With Narine playing an important role with his death bowling, The Knight Riders won the game by two runs. The West Indian was then put on a warning list and, while he could continue to bowl, if he had been identified for the second time, he faced suspension.
