MI vs GG First Innings Update: 

After the completion of 20 overs of the 12th match of WPL 2023, the Mumbai Indian’s total is 162. In the first innings, Mumbai Indians managed to score 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. 

MI-W vs GUJ-W Match Update: Gujarat With a decent Bowling Performance 

Gujarat certainly bowled really well and kept the Mumbai Indian quiet for some period of time. Gujarat used five bowlers and out of those five four picked up wickets each to restrict Mumbai to 162/8 in 20 overs.

Ashleigh Gardner picked up three wickets in her four spells and conceded just 34 runs. Skipper Sneh Rana, Kim Garth, and Tanuja Kanwar all three bowlers pick up a wicket in the 20 overs to restrict Mumbai to a decent total.

MI-W vs GUJ-W Update: First Innings final last overs 

Tanuja Kanwar bowled the 17th over of the game and was unsuccessful in pulling off a maiden but one wicket and 11 runs came in this over. A total of 2 runs and a wicket came off the 18th over of the innings bowled by Sneh Rana. 

The 19th over of the innings was bowled by Annabel Sutherland who couldn’t keep things tight, conceding just 14 runs. The 20th over of the innings was bowled by Ashleigh Gardner and it was an expensive one. Harmanpreet Kaur’s batsmen hit 2 fours to ensure 11 runs came off the over.

During the death overs, Mumbai Indians were able to score 50 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. The highest partnership of the innings was between Yastika Bhatia and Nat Sciver-Brunt who contributed 74 runs to the innings.

The run rate at the end of the 20th over is 8.1. Harmanpreet Kaur scored the highest number of runs (51) by hitting two sixes and seven fours at a strike rate of 170.

Gujarat after a decent bowling performance will have to chase a target of 163 runs inside 20 overs. While on the other hand, Mumbai Indians will be looking to stop Gujarat to cross the line.
