Sreesanth to play for India Maharajas

Sreesanth, Muttiah Muralitharan, Shahid Afridi, Misbah ul Haq, Robin Uthappa, and Lendl Simmons will all compete in the new season of Legends League Cricket, which will be contested in February and March 2023 in Doha, Qatar.

In the 15 matches that were played in 6 cities throughout India with a global audience of 1.2 billion spectators, the League witnessed high-level competitive cricket from the greatest players in the history of the game.

2023 Season LLC Held in?

The next season of the Legends League Masters, the international version of the league, will be hosted by the Qatar Cricket Association in Doha, Qatar, from February 27 to March 8, 2023, the organisers said on Friday.

Harbhajan and Sreesanth together

It had been a while since Harbhajan and Sreesanth. The two cricketers engaged in the infamous Slapgate incident from the IPL 2008, had played together.

After a game between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab in that IPL season, Harbhajan is accused of hitting Sreesanth. Harbhajan used to play for Mumbai back then, while Sreesanth was a member of the Punjab team.

History of Legends League Cricket

A T-20 cricket league called Legends League Cricket, or LLCT20, features recently retired players, many of whom were previous internationals. Three teams India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants participated in the first Legends League Cricket event.

Which took place in January 2022 at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground in Muscat. In September 2022, six important Indian cities hosted the second edition.

LLC: First Captains

Due to the birth of his child with his wife, Yuvraj Singh also missed the first edition of LLC. After testing positive for COVID-19, Harbhajan Singh also missed every game of the inaugural season.
