Twitterati: Pakistan Demolishes India’s Record In The T20 WC

Since 1992, Pakistan has been anticipating this moment! Under the leadership of their successful player Babar Azam, they finally got their chance. For the very first time in World Cup history, Pakistan defeated India in T20 WC (50-over and 20-over World Cups together). The implementation of plans by the Men in Green proved the spot accurate. Mohammad Rizwan & Shaheen Afridi, in addition to Babar, were the motivating factors behind this historic victory.

Previously, India had been stunned by Shaheen Afridi’s first spell, in which he blew fire with the ball. The bowler trapped Rohit Sharma in front of the stumps with an unbelievable in-swinging yorker and then KL Rahul with a stunning in-swinger. India was under trouble early in the game, with a 6/2 score, and required their captain Virat Kohli to invest time in the middle.

Kohli and Rishabh Pant ensuring that the innings does not collapse

Suryakumar Yadav teamed him in the middle for a 3rd-wicket stand of 25 runs. There were a few excellent strokes as well, but Hasan Ali struck at the ideal time to send Surya back. The effort has entered the restoration phase once more, both Kohli and Rishabh Pant ensuring that the innings does not collapse. The strike rotation maintained, with Pakistan’s tightening grip on the ball in support of Shaheen’s promising start.

Rishabh Pant made the decision to take control on the bowlers after the 10th over and hit a couple of one-handed sixes to get the fans excited. Hasan Ali delivered both sixes, one over backward square leg and another over long-off. Kohli, on the other hand, made sure he kept one end when the stand passed the 50-run benchmark. Shadab Khan produced a false ball from the lefty just as he was opening up, picking up a crucial wicket.

Ravindra Jadeja was moved to the middle, most likely to maintain the left-right pairing. He couldn’t get off the ground right quickly, though. Virat Kohli, on the other hand, raised his strike rate, which was hanging around 100 at the time. Even as he approached his half-century, he revealed a few cracked strokes. However, Shaheen Afridi returned for the final over of his delivery to dismiss India captain Virat Kohli for a well-made 57.

India never got the desired finishing touch, but they continued to build on the runs, scoring 51 runs in the final 5 overs. In their 20 overs, the Men in Blue scored 151 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. With stats of 3/31, it’s no surprise that Shaheen was Pakistan’s top bowler. Hasan Ali took two wickets but was costly, surrendering 44 runs, whereas Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf were both efficient and took one wicket apiece.

The 152-run aim appeared possible at the midway point. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, on the other hand, gave their arch-rivals no opportunity. The pair timed the chase brilliantly, ensuring they didn’t hand India any early wickets, and dew gradually gained hold of the ball, leaving the pitch easier to bat on.

Virat Kohli did everything, changing his bowling attack many times, but he couldn’t split the opening pair. Rizwan had a bustling start to the innings, however his captain fully dissolved the strain. As they were bowling themselves, Pakistan’s resolve was obvious, and their openers made it seem easy.

India had no answers for the flair and ability on display with the bat

Babar showed his class with eye-catching strokes as the innings continued, whereas Rizwan was at his finest, striking vital boundaries. India had no answers for the flair and ability on display with the bat, and their anxiety intensified as no wickets fell.

Both Rizwan and Babar Azam reached half-centuries, and the needed run rate was controlled in the game’s final five overs. The Indian supporters had hoped for a variation in the drama, however Pakistan had finally delivered a flawless performance on the day that counted the most after all these years. They had been waiting for this moment since 1992, and they had finally achieved it by defeating India in a World Cup match.

Pakistan did not lose a single wicket throughout the attempt, demonstrating their dominance over the opposition. They went over the line with 13 balls to go in the end, with Rizwan unbroken on 79 and Babar also contributing with his 68* as they thrashed India by 10 wickets.
