Afghanistan is all set to tour Bangladesh from 23rd Feb 2022 and both the teams are scheduled to play three ODIs and two T20I games. Afghanistan Cricket Board have officially announced their squads for the tour but Bangladesh Cricket Board is yet to announce their T20 squad. Afghanistan team has already reached Dhaka and currently, the entire squad is in quarantine. After this, they will move to Chattogram for their 1st ODI on 23rd Feb 2022. After completing the three-match ODI series – Both teams will travel to Dhaka for the T20 Series which will take place on March 3rd and 5th.
Initially, ACB has announced a different squad but later they have released the revised squads for the tour and said – “The selectors have included some young faces to the ODI line up which is a good sign for us, as we are leading into the World Cup next year. The three ODIs are important for us and I am sure the squad carries enough strength to do well when they get to the field”
