MI vs RR 2nd Innings 10 Overs Update
Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians are playing the 44th match of IPL 2022 and it is going great! Mumbai has won the toss and elected to field first. Rajasthan batting first scored 158 for 6 in the first innings. Mumbai chasing 159, at the end of 10 overs has scored 75 for 2. In the last 5 overs, the team managed to score 39 runs losing 1 wicket.
During the first six overs, opener Ishan Kishan put on a great show early on hitting a quick 26 runs. Rohit soon got out hitting the same pull shot in the 3rd over that brought Surya Kumar Yadav to the middle. Ishan got out in the final over of the powerplay. The team scored 41 runs for 2 wickets.
Boult bowled the 6th over of the innings and kept things tight, conceding just 5 runs and taking the important wicket of Ishan Kishan. 7th over by Daryl Mitchell was an expensive one as he gave 20 runs from it. The 8th over of the innings was bowled by Chahal who got back the momentum, conceding just 5 runs from the over.
4 runs came off the 9th over of the innings bowled by Kuldeep Sen where he kept things tight. Ashwin bowled the 10th over of the innings, conceding just 5 runs from the over.
If Mumbai keeps calm and plays with intent, they have a good chance to win the match as RR bowlers have not shaken their confidence till now. Surya and Tilak are looking strong and expected to hit big as they are settled. Rajasthan has to bring their A-game and try something new to end this partnership and need a couple of wickets to get back into the match. As of now, they look loose.
