CSK vs SRH 1st Innings 10 Overs Update:
The contest between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings is on. The orange team’s captain won the toss and elected to field first. CSK is now batting and at the end of 10 overs of the 36th match of IPL 2022, the team’s total is 85 for no loss. In the last 5 overs, the yellow team managed to score 54 runs.
Chennai had the dream start they had been looking for quite sometime. With inclusion of Devon Conway, the side looks differently balanced. Getting on a good start the opener duo, Devon and Gaikwad utilized the opportunity well and scored 40 runs without any loss in the first six overs. The power play restrictions helped the scoreboard ticking. Even though bowlers bowled good line and length, it did not make either batter uncomfortable to take unnecessary risk and they confidentally handled the bowling.
Marco Jansen bowled the 6th over of the innings and conceded 9 runs from it. The 8th over of the innings was bowled by Umran Malik was a pace changer for CSK as the batters hit him for a six and a four and scored 13 runs from the over.
14 runs came off the 9th over of the innings bowled by Jansen where he lost the momentum. Umran bowled the 10th over of the innings, and conceded 11 runs from it.
Chennai openers seem to have adjusted well to SRH’s deathly bowling as none of the bowlers have been able to challenge them much. The duo has gotten CSK a solid start. Rutu has even completed his 9th IPL half century and he’ll most definitely like to convert this knock to a big one. Devon Conway looks like a good addition to the team as they move forward to a big score.
