IPL 2021 is set to commence from 9 April 2021. The entire cricketing world is excited about this showpiece event. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s captain David Warner is not an exception either. Warner expressed his excitement through social media. He exclaimed he can’t wait to start his campaign in IPL 2021.

Warner is undergoing quarantine:

Warner is currently in quarantine in Chennai. He will complete the mandatory isolation bio-bubble period in a couple of days. Warner will join his teammates following this. He will train along with them ahead of SRH’s tournament-opener. SRH, kickstart their campaign on April 11 against Kolkata Knight Riders.

SRH skipper, Warner made it clear that he is absolutely pumped up. He posted a video on Instagram to express his excitement. Warner was all hyped up after receiving his new playing kit for the season. He stated that he could not wait to wear the kit. His joy knows no bounds knowing he will be joining his teammates in a couple of days. The superstar batsman also asked his fans to predict IPL 2021’s winner.

Warner was quoted saying, “Hey everyone, I just received my playing kit and I could not wait to put it on. So I just took it out of the packet and put it straight on. Pumped to get out of here in a couple of days and join the guys in training ahead of our first game in Chennai. So, who do you reckon will win this year’s IPL?.”

Warner-led SRH one of the contenders:

Warner has been lying low post his hamstring injury. He will be keen to make his presence felt in the IPL. Warner is one of the most consistent batsmen in the league. SRH will be hoping IPL 2021 is no different. David Warner-led SRH start as one of the strong contenders. Warner has Jonny Bairstow, Jason Roy, Kane Williamson, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan for the company. The presence of these players makes SRH one of the strongest teams this season. SRH have made the playoffs each time since 2016. They will look to achieve that as their first target. SRH have not won the IPL title since winning their first title in 2016. They came close to winning a second title in 2018 when they made it to the final. This year they will be hoping to go the distance.
