With a hamstring injury (Grade 2), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) all-rounder Vijay Shankar was removed from the rest of the season. He became the third SRH player to be omitted after Mitchell Marsh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar from IPL 2020. After Shankar injured his hamstring, the development came to light while bowling his second over on Tuesday against the Delhi Capitals. After throwing the fifth ball of the 12th, after which the physio attended to him, he was seen gripping his hamstring.
