ABOUT THE MATCH:

The 19th match of IPL 2020 would be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.  The match would be telecasted from 7:30pm onwards.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have been in a spot in the 2020 Indian Premier League ( IPL).

After winning three of their four matches, they have also been at the top of the points table before being replaced later on Saturday by Delhi Capitals (DC).

Virat Kohli and Co beat the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by eight wickets at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi in their last match. Their next game is against the Capitals at Dubai International Cricket on Monday, October 5.

RCB dominated the Delhi franchise in the history of the IPL, winning a lot of games. This time around the job, though, might not be easy as DC has already won three out of four games. In addition, in their last game, Shreyas Iyer ‘s men also defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders (RR) by 18 runs.

MATCH PREVIEW:

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE:

1.Bowling for Umesh Yadav was very costly for the team in the last match. Perhaps that happened because of the swing that mostly makes him powerful in the powerplay. To start with, RCB could go with a different bowler. It is possible to include Washington Sundar in this role.

2.Yuzvendra Chahal and Navdeep Saini are excellent bowlers and in the last match they displayed their skills. But, in the bowling attack of the RCB, depending on Shivam Dube for almost three overs, not that much is fine.

3. Devdutt Padikkal has experienced what he is and has scored an impressive half-century. However, he and Aaron Finch all struggled a lot with the dot balls between the edges. Captain Kohli looked rusty and it just happened that they managed to go for a decent total because of the strength of AB de Villiers.

PROBABLE PLAYING XI:

Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers (wk), Shivam Dube, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Washington Sundar, Isuru Udana, Navdeep Saini, Adam Zampa, Yuzvendra Chahal.

DELHI CAPITALS:

1. The Delhi Capitals are now leading with two back-to – back victories on the points table. Shreyas Iyer does a great job as a captain, and his decision to retain Rabada ‘s three-over for the death overs proved successful.

2. Prithvi Shaw also learnt and played very well from his previous mistakes, which helped him get more runs. Improvement is completely seen in the Delhi Capitals. Both Iyer and Pant played fantastically.

3. With Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada, DC has an excellent fast bowling strike. Both players bowl at a specific pace. Just Avesh Khan was their only weak point in the last game as he conceded 42 runs from his four overs.

PROBABLE PLAYING XI:

Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer (C), Rishabh Pant (wk), Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer, Ravi Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Amit Mishra, Harshal Patel.

PITCH REPORT:

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium pitch has been a decent one to bat on, with scores over 170 in the past few games being scored. There is, however, plenty for the bowlers to deliver, and in the first half of the innings, this kept the batsmen on their toes.

With the shorter square borders, the spinners may find it a touch difficult, although at this spot, the likes of Washington Sundar and Rashid Khan have enjoyed some success.

The key for both sides would be wickets in hand, with there being value for proper cricketing shots as well. Both sides could be tempted into chasing with dew coming into play, although the record is heavily biassed against teams that have chased in IPL 2020.

WEATHER REPORT:

Over the course of the match, the temperature is predicted to be about 31 ° C. Humidity levels are likely to hover about 63 percent during the match. In addition, as per the weather forecast for Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals, during the entire match there will be no cloud cover and one can expect the entire 40 overs of an action-packed evening at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
